Accountability
VCSA executives must be answerable for their actions and decisions. There must be established, fair processes for reviewing conduct and ensuring adherence to the VCSA's bylaws and responsibilities.

Procedural Integrity
All goals, even crucial ones like accreditation, must be pursued by following proper procedures and bylaws. The importance of the objective does not justify breaking any established rules.
Student Voice
Every student's concern, question, or suggestion deserves to be heard, respected, and publicly addressed. The VCSA must genuinely represent the entire student body.
Awareness
Students have the right to be fully informed about how their association operates, the status of their funds (categorical breakdowns), and how key decisions (like accreditation and negotiations between VCSA-Vanier) will affect their college experience.
